WASHINGTON, D.C – Congresswoman Nanette Barragán (CA-44) released the following statement after she voted “no” on H.R. 7217, the Republican supplemental aid bill.
“I support Israel’s sovereignty and her right to self-defense. I don’t support Republicans cynical political games. There is a bill that would garner overwhelming support and provide aid to Israel and humanitarian assistance – Republicans refuse to put it on the floor.”
