Congresswoman Barragán’s Jobs Fair on Friday, October 15

Lynwood, Calif. – Congresswoman Nanette Diaz Barragán will host her district-wide jobs fair on October 15th at Lynwood City Hall. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet more than 40 local employers who are looking to hire for more than 1,000 open positions across various industries. 

“So many of our friends and neighbors lost their jobs during the pandemic and are still looking for work. I hope my jobs fair can help. Dozens of local employers will be on site and ready to hire. Stop by on Friday and you might be connected with your next great job,” Congresswoman Barragán said.

Local employers from different industries – including transportation, postal services, warehouse logistics, and manufacturing – are participating. This year’s employers include Amazon, Starbucks, the U.S. Postal Service, CalTrans, FedEx and many more.

A mobile vaccination unit provided by St. John’s Well-Child & Family Center will be onsite to provide COVID-19 vaccines. Booster shots will also be available to those who qualify.
