Rep. Barragán Welcomes Federal Funding Requests For Fiscal Year 2018

Washington, DC –  Congresswoman Nanette Diaz Barragán (D-CA) announced that her office is accepting federal funding or “appropriations” requests for Fiscal Year 2018.

“If you have a federal funding request, I want to hear from you,” said Rep. Barragán.  “It is important that I hear from you about the issues you care about and the federal programs that impact you so that I can further advocate for our community and our values.”

Congresswoman Barragán is working to support federal spending that is critical to job and economic growth, national security and improving the lives of working-class Americans.  Along with her colleagues, she is fighting to protect funding levels for the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection at sea ports that keep our country safe.  Congresswoman Barragán will also work to ensure that Congress makes the necessary infrastructure investments that help economic engines like the Port of Los Angeles, which supports over 3 million jobs, stay internationally competitive.

Individuals and organizations wishing to make requests for program funding and report language for Fiscal Year 2018 can do so by emailing Barragan.Appropriations@mail.house.gov.

All requests must be received by March 24, 2017 in order to be considered.  Additional documentation or information may be requested, depending on the nature of the request. For further information, please email Barragan.Appropriations@mail.house.gov or call (202) 225-8220.
