DESCRIPTION:Environmental Justice 101: Environmental Justice and Its Impacts on Communities of Color\n(open press) \nCommunities of color and low-income neighborhoods consistently endure poorer air and water quality—and worse health consequences from pollution—than wealthier districts. \nAs chairwoman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus’ Environmental\, Public Lands\, and Water Task Force\, Congresswoman Nanette Diaz Barragán (D-San Pedro) is hosting an hour-long roundtable discussion titled “Environmental Justice 101” to discuss this issue. The roundtable is open to press. \nRep.
