Barragán Appointed to House Natural Resources Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. Today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that Congresswoman Nanette Diaz Barragán has been appointed to the House Committee on Natural Resources. This will be the third committee Congresswoman Barragán will serve on during the 116th Congress, along with the Energy and Commerce and Homeland Security Committees.

 

“I am grateful for the chance to serve on the Natural Resources Committee this year and to work with Chair Raul Grijalva once again,” said Rep. Barragán. “Our nation faces grave environmental challenges, and Congress must lead the way by developing and passing legislation that protects our irreplaceable natural resources and ensures environmental justice for all.”
